This integral arm of the Karibib council is responsible for initiating, planning, attracting, marketing, retaining, regulating, and collaborating with stakeholders to create a conducive environment for development. The department consists of three divisions: Local Economic Development, Environmental Management, and Corporate Affairs. Local Economic Development promotes sustainable development through coordinated business links, investment support, and job creation. Environmental Management and Corporate Affairs oversee the council’s liaison with the public, media, and organizations, ensuring all contractual agreements meet statutory requirements.
